……很多人都認為在學校教書會影響修行，我知道這樣講的人當然有他的理由。可是我也記得上人講過：「你教學生，只要有一個，你教導他從壞到好，那你的功德就已經很大了。大到什麼程度呢？當你以後自己修行有魔障時，那個功德可以抵得住的。這都是無形無相的東西，我們利益別人，同時在我們修道上，也是一個很重要的錯角石。」 |

Many people think that teaching in our school will have a negative influence on their cultivation. I understand they must have their reasons for saying this. But I also remember that the Venerable Master once said, "When you teach even just one student to change from bad to good, your merit will be very great. How great? Later on when you are cultivating and you run into demonic obstacles, your merit will be able to counteract those obstacles. The merit might be invisible, but when we benefit others it actually helps ourselves in our path of cultivation." |
