心恒慶悅無疲厭,佛供養佛在因地,佛修道的時候供養一切的諸佛,沒有一個時候生出一種疲厭或者說我夠了,我不供養這麼多佛了,沒有的。他供養越多的佛越沒有關係,越沒有疲厭的心,沒有討厭的時候。喜門深大有如海,這個喜捨的這種行門非常的深,非常的大,猶如大海一樣。誰有什麼問題沒有?

問:(聽不清楚)

上人:歡喜到誰那兒去這一個人一定不是個修行人,要修行他就不會找小孩子,你們大家應該明白這一點。

念念神通不可量。化現蓮花種種香。
佛坐其上普遊往。紅色光神皆睹見。

念念神通不可量,這一位紅色的蓮華光足行神,他得到佛的境界,念念之中都想著佛這個神通,是不可思量的,沒有數量的。化現蓮花種種香,以佛的神通來變化一切的妙蓮華,又放出種種的香,種種的蓮華香。佛坐其上普遊往,佛坐到這個種種的蓮華,種種的香,坐這個蓮華的上邊。普遊往,普遍到十方法界所有的國土去教化眾生,這是這個紅色光神,紅色光足行神,他能看見這種的境界,能明白這種的境界,入這種的解脫門。

諸佛如來法如是。廣大眾會遍十方。
普現神通不可議。最勝華神悉明矚。
十方國土一切處。於中舉足若下足。
悉能成就諸群生。此善見神心悟喜。
如眾生數普現身。此—一身充法界。
悉放淨光雨眾寶。如是解脫星幢入。
如來境界無邊際。普雨法雨皆充滿。
眾會睹佛生歡喜。此妙音聲之所見。

諸佛如來法如是,十方諸佛一切如來的佛法都像這樣子。說什麼呢?說廣大眾會遍十方,無論哪一位佛都現廣大的眾會這個大道場,遍於十方都是廣大的道場。普現神通不可議,這個佛都是現出他大神通力不可思議這種的力。最勝華神悉明矚,這是最勝華足行神,他明白這種的解脫門,他能看見這種的境界。

十方國土一切處,所有十方一切的國土。於中舉足若下足,在這個所有的國土,佛或者舉足或者下足。悉能成就諸群生,佛一舉一動,一言一行,所有一切都是為了教化眾生,成就眾生,令一切眾生都得到利益。此善見神心悟喜,這善見足行神心悟喜,他心裏明白這種道理而歡喜。

如眾生數普現身,有多少眾生,佛就現多少身。此一一身充法界,這每一個身都充滿法界。悉放淨光雨眾寶,充滿法界這個佛身又放這個清淨的光明,出生一切的眾寶。如是解脫星幢人,像這種的解脫門,是妙寶星幢足行神所明了的。

如來境界無邊際,如來的境界是無邊無際的。普雨法雨皆充滿,普遍雨一切的法雨,令這個法界皆充滿這個法雨。眾會睹佛生歡喜,十方法界的一切道場眾會,見到佛都生一種大歡喜心。此妙音聲之所見,這是妙音聲足行神,他所覺悟到的這種境界。

佛音聲量等虛空。一切音聲悉在中。
調伏眾生靡不遍。如是栴檀能聽受。
一切毛孔出化音。闡揚三世諸佛名。
聞此音者皆歡喜。蓮華光神如是見。
佛身變現不思議。步步色相猶如海。
隨眾生心悉令見。此妙光明之所得。
十方普現大神通。一切眾生悉開悟。
眾妙華神於此法。見已心生大歡喜。

這個華嚴經的境界是充滿法界的,我們不要說聽講,就這麼唸一唸,聽一聽這個聲音已經就會種無量的善根,要是能明白它的義理,那更是增長無量的善根,所以這華嚴的境界是妙不可言的。

你不要以為天天講這個經,我都明白了沒有什麼意思,你心裏一天到晚打這個妄想,莫如我有這個時間做點旁的不一樣嗎?你要知道如果你不聽經,你做旁的事情那個妄想更多。所以我們天天到這個時候講經說法。早晨起來做早課、坐禪,每一天的工作都是去你的習氣毛病,叫你不打妄想,但是你還單單要打你的妄想,這是太可憐了。

佛音聲量等虛空,盡虛空通法界都有佛的音聲,沒有一個地方沒有佛的音聲,所以說佛的音聲量等虛空,他的數量是和虛空一樣大,一樣那麼多。一切音聲悉在中,佛的音聲是一音演說法,眾生隨類各得解。

雖然是一種音聲,但是在每一類眾生來講就是他那一種的語言。東方的人聽見就是東方的語言,西方的人聽見這一種佛的聲音就是西方的語言。你不用翻譯而能變成種種的語言,比什麼科學進步的東西都快得多。

調伏眾生靡不遍,這個音聲調伏一切剛強眾生。老虎聽見這個佛的音聲也皈依三寶,信受奉行,獅子聽見佛的音聲也就皈依三寶,信受奉行。所以每一類的眾生都可以調伏。靡不遍,遍於眾生界而為眾生說法。如是栴檀能聽受像這種的境界,這種的解脫門是旃檀樹光足行神他能聽受而明瞭的。

一切毛孔出化音,在佛的一切毛孔上都出生這個妙法音。闡揚三世諸佛名,這個出的變化音就演說闡揚過去世、現在世、未來世一切諸佛的名號而讚歎一切諸佛。聞此音者皆歡喜,那麼令一切眾生聽見這個聲音的人都生出一種歡喜心來。蓮華光神如是見,這個蓮華光足行神他所見的是這樣子。

佛身變現不思議,佛的聲音變化無窮,不可思議。步步色相猶如海,佛所變現一切的妙色聲,一切的妙色相有如海那麼廣大,不可思議。隨眾生心悉令見,隨眾生的心念念令見佛。此妙光明之所得,這是妙光明足行神他所明白的這種境界。

十方普現大神通,佛時時都現於十方,普現大神通。一切眾生悉開悟,令一切眾生都從愚癡的地方得到智慧,而開悟。眾妙華神於此法,這個眾妙華足行神他對這種的妙法。見已心生大歡喜,他看見完了之後心裡就得到這個法喜充滿。

復次,淨喜境界身眾神,得憶佛往昔誓願海解脫門。光照十方身眾神,得光明普照無邊世界解脫門。海音調伏身眾神,得大音普覺一切眾生,令歡喜調伏解脫門。

前邊這個經義還沒有說完,繼續說這個經的意思,現在到這個淨喜境界身眾神。這個清淨歡喜這個境界,他得到這種境界。這個身眾神,他得到佛的境界。是什麼呢?他回憶,想這個佛在過去生中的事情。憶是回憶,回憶釋迦牟尼佛在因地的時候,往昔誓願海,所發的誓願猶如大海那麼多。

所以我們現在修道的人,誰都不要把這個願看輕了,你必須要有大願然後才能有大修行,才能成大的果報。你沒有大願就像想要過海沒有船來載著你,你就沒有法子過得去。大願就是等於一個船過海一樣,所以修道的人必須要發大願才能得大果。

釋迦牟尼佛在過去發的大願有如海那麼多,那麼深,那麼廣,無量無邊。所以我們做佛的弟子都應該發廣大願,求無上道。這一位淨喜境界身眾神他覺到這種的解脫門。

光照十方身眾神,光照十方是身眾神的名字,他得到這個光明普照,普照法界。無邊世界,無量無邊那麼多的世界他都能照到,得到這種的解脫門。

Commentary:
He constantly rejoiced, never growing weary. In making  offerings to all Buddhas on the causal ground, he never grew weary  and said, "I've had enough. There are too many Buddhas to make  offerings to." The more Buddhas he made offerings to, the happier  he was. He never got tired of doing this. His door of joy and giving  was extremely deep and vast like an ocean. Are there any  questions?

Sutra:
In every thought, immeasurable spiritual powers 
Bring into being lotuses with various fragrances. 
Buddhas seated upon them travel everywhere. 
The Spirit Red Light observes all of this.

Commentary:
The Spirit of Foot Travel named Red Lotus Flower Light attained  the following state of the Buddha: In every thought, he thinks of  the Buddha's immeasurable and countless spiritual powers, which bring into  being marvelous lotuses with various fragrances. With spiritual powers  Buddha transforms all kind of  marvelous lotuses, which emit various fragrances,  various lotus fragrances.  /Buddhas seated upon them travel everywhere to all lands in the ten  directions of the Dharma Realm, in order to teach and transform  living beings. The Spirit of Foot Travel named Red Light observes  all of this, understands this state, and enters this door to liberation.

Sutra:
The Dharma of every Buddha, Thus Come One, is thus. 
His extensive assemblies pervade the ten directions. 
He universally manifests inconceivable spiritual powers. 
The Spirit Supreme Floral Cowl completely sees and understands this.
In every place throughout the lands of the ten directions, 
Whether raising his foot or setting it down, 
He is able to bring the multitudes to accomplishment. 
The Spirit Good Views realizes this with joy.
He manifests as many bodies as there are living beings. 
Each and every body fills up the Dharma Realm. 
All of them radiate pure light and rain down myriad treasures. 
Star Banner has entered a liberation such as this.
The states of the Thus Come One are without bounds. 
He sends down Dharma rain that fills all places. 
The assembled multitudes behold the Buddha in delight. 
This is what Wondrous Sound has observed.

Commentary:
The Dharma of every Buddha, Thus Come One, is thus. The Buddhadharma of all Buddhas throughout the ten directions is this way.  What way? His extensive assemblies pervade the ten directions.  Every Buddha manifests a vast assembly in a great Way-place. These  huge, great Way-places are everywhere throughout the ten directions.  He universally manifests inconceivable, great spiritual powers. / The Spirit of Foot Travel named Supreme Floral Cowl completely  sees this kind of state and understands this door to liberation.     

In every place throughout the lands of the ten directions, /  Whether raising his foot or setting it down, he is able to bring  the multitudes to accomplishment. Every move the Buddha makes  and every word he says is for the sake of teaching and transforming living beings and bringing them to accomplishment. The Spirit of Foot  Travel named Good Views realizes this principle with joy.

He, the Buddha, manifests as many bodies as there are living  beings. / Each and every body fills up the Dharma Realm. / All  of them radiate pure light and rain down myriad treasures. The  Spirit of Foot Travel named Star Banner has entered and understood  a liberation door such as this.

The states of the Thus Come One are without bounds. / He  sends down Dharma rain that fills all places. This universal Dharma  rain fills up the Dharma Realm. The assembled multitudes in all  Way-places throughout the ten directions behold the Buddha in  delight. / This is what the Spirit of Foot Travel named Wondrous  Sound has observed. He has understood this kind of state.

Sutra:
The range of the Buddha's voice equals empty space.
Every kind of sound is encompassed therein.
It subdues all living beings without exception.
Chandana is able to hear and accept this.
Transformed sounds come out of every pore,
Proclaiming names of all Buddhas of the three periods of time.
Those who hear are filled with happiness.
This is the perception of the Spirit Lotus Flower Brilliance.
The Buddha's body undergoes inconceivable transformations.
In every step his forms resemble the ocean.
He shows himself according to living beings' wishes.
This is the attainment of Wondrous Radiance.
Displaying great spiritual powers everywhere in ten directions,
He brings all living beings to enlightenment.
The Spirit Myriads of Wonderful Flowers sees this Dharma,
And having seen it, feels tremendous delight.

Commentary:
The state of the Flower Adornment Sutra completely fills the  Dharma Realm. Not to speak of hearing it explained, simply reciting  it or listening to the way it sounds will enable one to plant measureless  good roots. If one can understand its meanings, one will further  increase in measureless good roots. The Flower Adornment Sutra  is wonderful beyond words.

You should not think, "Every day the Sutra is lectured, but I already  understand it. There's not much point in this." You have this false  thinking all day long. "Wouldn't I be better off spending my time  doing something else?" You ought to know that if you do something  else instead of listening to the Sutra, you will have even more false  thinking. For that reason, every day at this time, we lecture the  Sutra and speak Dharma. We get up early to do morning recitation  and sit in meditation. These daily practices are to help you eliminate  your bad habits and faults and prevent you from engaging in false  thinking. However, you insist on indulging in your fantasies. What a  pity!

The range of the Buddha's voice equals empty space. The  Buddha's sound pervades empty space and the Dharma realm. There  is not a single place where the Buddha's sound is absent. The  measure of the Buddha's sound is as great as empty space. Every  kind of sound is encompassed therein. The Buddha's sound is  such that, With one sound he proclaims the Dharma, And living beings each understand it according to their kind. Although the Buddha has only one sound, every living being hears it  in that living being's own language. Asians hear it and interpret it as  being an Asian language. Westerners perceive the Buddha's sound  as being in a Western language. Without need for translation, the  Buddha's sound is transformed into every language. And this happens  faster than could be done with any advanced scientific technology.     

It subdues all living beings without exception. The Buddha's  voice subdues every stubborn being. When tigers hear the Buddha's  sound, they take refuge with the Triple Jewel and faithfully accept  and practice the teachings. When lions hear it, they do the same.  Every kind of creature can be tamed. The Buddha speaks the  Dharma for all creatures in the realm of living beings. The Spirit of  Foot Travel named Chandana Tree Light is able to hear and  accept this state and liberation door, and understand it.     

Transformed sounds of wonderful Dharma come out of every  pore of the Buddha's body, proclaiming names of all Buddhas  of the three periods of time—past, present, and future—and  praising all Buddhas. Those who hear are filled with happiness.  Every living being who hears these sounds is delighted. This is the  perception of the Spirit of Foot Travel named Lotus Flower Brilliance. This is what he sees.     

The Buddha's body undergoes infinite and inconceivable  transformations. In every step his forms resemble the ocean.  The wonderful forms manifested by the Buddha are as vast and  inconceivable as an ocean. He shows himself according to living  beings' wishes. The Buddha causes living beings to see him  according to their thoughts. This is the attainment of Spirit of  Foot Travel named Wondrous Radiance. He understood this state.     

Constantly displaying great spiritual powers everywhere in ten directions, he brings all living beings to enlightenment,  leading them from ignorance to wisdom. The Spirit of Foot Travel  named Myriads of Wonderful Flowers sees this wonderful  Dharma, / And having seen it, feels tremendous delight, being  filled with the joy of Dharma.

Sutra:
Moreover, the Multi-bodied Spirit named State of Pure Joy  obtained the liberation door of recollecting the sea of the  Buddha's past vows. The Multi-bodied Spirit named Light  Illumining the Ten Directions obtained the liberation door of  light universally shining upon boundless worlds. The Multi-bodied Spirit named Taming and Subduing with Ocean Sound  obtained the liberation door of great sound universally  enlightening all living beings, causing them to be happy and  subdued.

Commentary:
Moreover, since the meaning of the Sutra has not been fully  explained, the explanation will continue. The Multi-bodied Spirit  is named State of Pure Joy because he has attained a state of  pure happiness. What state of the Buddha has he obtained? He has  obtained the liberation door of recollecting the sea of the  Buddha's past vows. He remembers the vows that Shakyamuni  Buddha made in the past, which are as vast as an ocean. Cultivators  of the Way should not look lightly upon vows. You must have great  vows, so that your cultivation can be great and you can achieve a great result. Without great vows, it is like trying to cross the ocean  without a boat—you cannot get across. Great vows are like a boat  that ferries you across the sea. Therefore, it is essential that  cultivators make great vows, so that they can attain a great fruition.     

Shakyamuni Buddha's past vows are as numerous, as vast, and as  deep as the great sea; they are measureless and boundless. As his  disciples, we ought to make great, vast vows to cultivate the  unsurpassed Way. The Spirit named State of Pure Joy obtained this  door to liberation.

The Multi-bodied Spirit named Light Illumining the Ten  Directions obtained the liberation door of light universally  shining upon boundless worlds. His light illumines the entire  Dharma Realm, reaching all of the infinitely many worlds. He  obtained that door to liberation.
