hen we are little, we have to learn how to be a good person and to know what’s good and what's bad; this is what Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue School teaches about. The teachers want the children’s personalities to be good, so when they grow up, they will benefit society.
The goals for the school are to teach children to be good people. This includes respecting elders and teachers and being filial to parents. We should listen to what our parents say and do what they tell us to do. That is called being filial. In school, the students cannot cheat, steal, or fight. We should be kind to each other and always help others when they need it. There is something that makes this school special: we can learn about Buddhism and also how to read and write in Chinese. That is something we cannot learn in other schools.
This is a very good and special school. I like it, because it is different from all other schools! The teachers help us to be good people, and we are all trying to go in that direction.
