破科學成見
科學，這一學科，在現代似乎全人類
多數有口皆碑；但也有人認為枓學是使
歷史倒退，或功過各半。立場不同，觀
點各異。既然追究真理，就不應抱有成
見，對重大問題未經證實，持反對念，
是正確的，已經證實後，仍然反對，是
大成見。摒棄所謂含混不清問題，與信
仰主義劃清界限等均屬成見。剖析鑽研
，既能糾己，更能啟發別人，但必須有
所依據。科學對全人類的生活所需及精
神物質，盡所能達到要求，對不需要的
殺傷武器，也加以製造，死人無數，是
嚴重的成見。明知人類在宇宙間，只是
片斷過程，而堅守這非假、非真、非實
過程，並且否認宇宙真理。此話的依據
，即科學定律。物質、能量守恆，放棄
不管、不理，堅信幻假不實的。所謂物
質世界與人類利乎害乎，不聯繫到宇宙
，徹底宇宙難下結論。對此問題，以後
自能水落石出。唯物是從是嚴重成見，
此外，甚至於被利用，也不承認，甚而
入迷，成見嚴重。
破除迷信
所謂迷信，就是糊塗行為和盲目信仰
，有害無益，應當破除。但什麼是迷信
？很難分辨清楚。真糊塗迷信，本身不
知是迷信，經說明勸解比較能改；就怕
聰明人迷信，為害大，很難改；最後是
普遍共性迷信。真糊塗迷信，如信外地
來賣假藥，和流動施醫騙財等，和修墳
修墓，燒錢化紙，應勸改之。

Penetrating the Bias of Science
Nowadays, it seems that the entire human race is in favor of science. Some people, however, think that science is only making us go backwards in history, or that the merits and demerits are evenly balanced. Everyone has a different standpoint and perspective. Since we are searching for the truth, we should not have biased views. Before an important hypothesis has been validated, it is proper to hold an opposing view. After it has been validated, however, if one still holds an opposing view, one is considered greatly biased. To simply ignore a question as indeterminate, or to draw a clear boundary between science and religion, is also being biased. By engaging in analytical research, not only can we correct our own biases, we can also inspire others; however, our research must have a solid basis. Science has done its best to satisfy our material and spiritual needs. However, it has also produced many unnecessary lethal weapons, and countless deaths have resulted. This is due to a serious bias. We clearly know that human existence is but a fleeting moment in the universe, yet we obstinately cling to this brief span of time, which is neither real, nor false, nor true, and we deny the ultimate truth of the universe. This statement is based on the laws of science. Matter and energy are constant, yet we ignore them while firmly believing in what is illusory and unreal. As to whether the material world is harmful or beneficial to humanity as a whole, it is hard to draw any conclusion unless the universe is investigated and taken into consideration. The answer to this question will become clear in the future. Materialism is a seriously biased ideology. Further, we are also being seriously biased when we refuse to acknowledge the fact that we have become slaves of materialism, and we continue to be infatuated with materialism.
Doing Away with Superstition
Superstition refers to ignorant conduct and blind faith which are harmful and should be done away with. What is superstition? It is difficult to define. When people are truly ignorant and do not know that they are being superstitious, it is not hard to explain to them and get them to change. What concerns us are the intelligent people who are superstitious, as they can cause greater harm and are hard to change; in the end their superstitious beliefs become widespread. As for those who are ignorant and superstitious, who believe foreign peddlers of fake medicine, wandering "doctors" who cheat people of their money, geomancers, and those who burn paper money, we should exhort them to change.
