【本刊訊】十二月二十四日至二十六日金山聖寺第一次舉辦梁皇寶懺七永日在法會的第三天早上，宣公上人不辭勞累，應四眾弟子懇請，上堂說法。並且傳授三皈五戒。
上人開示學佛的人，不要像遊擊司令，跑了一輩子佛教的道場，然後是一無所得。上人也特別地告誡弟子們不可隨便誹謗三寶，否則活著會受罪，死了也會入拔舌地獄受罪的。最後，上人希望每一個人以心換心，用真心待人，學著不生氣，並且預祝大家新年快樂。

(Announcement) The seven-day Jeweled Repentance of Emperor Liang was held for the first time at Gold Mountain Sagely Monastery from December 24th to the 30th. On the third day, despite the fatigue, the Venerable Master consented to the request of the four-fold assembly and ascended the Hall to speak Dharma. The Venerable Master also conducted the Three Refuges and transmitted the Five Precepts.
The Master gave an instructional talk saying that the people who study Buddhism shouldn't act like guerilla band leaders, running around to all the Buddhist temples without attaining anything their whole lives. The Venerable Master especially urged his disciples not to slander the Triple Jewel, otherwise they will undergo suffering in this life and afterwards fall into the Hell of Tongue-Plucking to undergo more suffering. In conclusion, the Master wished everyone would put themselves into others' shoes and use a true heart to treat others. The Venerable Master also urged everyone to learn not to be angry and wished everybody a Happy New Year.
