EMINENT DHARMA MASTER

BHIKSU HSIN TING

Dharma Master Hsin Ting was born in Yun Lin, Taiwan, Republic of China into the Shih family and was given the name Wu-nan. He is now twenty-seven years old. He was born with the high and wide forehead indicative of excellent character. Wisdom of foresight extends his vision into the future, and he has a full share of robust yet sensitive strength.

Although foremost among those dedicated to the work of lecturing and supervising construction, his abilities enable him to manage a host of other activities at the Eastern Buddhist Academy. At the same time his good humor is unfailing and unsurpassed, and he is an accomplished mimic who can express the character and behavior of others with great precision.

With many meritorious qualities, he is rare among the host of young disciples; such an accomplished person is hard to find.

Dharma Master Heng Ting graduated from the Eastern Buddhist Academy at Buddha’s Light Mountain, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Republic of China in June 1971.
