The Venerable Master, born
in 1942, was first ordained as a novice in 1955 at Bopagama Vihara, Sri Lanka
under the Venerable Mahathera Walpola Gnanaratana. He received full ordination
in 1970 under Mahathera K. Meduananda and Sri Maha Vihara Panadura. With an M.A. in Pali and Buddhist Philosophy from the University of Calcutta, he has been a lecturer a several universities in India and is currently lecturing at the University of Oriental Studies in Los Angeles. |
