那一年，每星期六下午，上人都去「女居士林」講經說法。居士林座落於三藩市的列治文區。上人請了一尊莊嚴精緻的地藏菩薩聖像供奉在居士林。同時答應開講整部《地藏菩薩本願經》。

In that year, Saturday afternoon lectures were held at the Laywomen’s Forest, located in the Richmond district of San Francisco. The Master placed an exquisite image of Earth Store Bodhisattva at that residence for Buddhist women and agreed to lecture the entire Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva.
