主旨•Main Objective |

今年（二Ｏ一Ｏ）適逢宣公上人涅槃十五週年紀念，為緬懷上人德澤，特舉辦徵文活動。
This year (2010) is the fifteenth anniversary of CTTB's dedication, and we have a series of activities to remember and reflect on the past as well as look towards the future. In order to make these activities reach more people and influence them at a deeper level, we now organize an essay contest as part of this year's activities. |
比賽題目•Essay Topic |

可自訂，凡與上人有關之內容，如與上人之因緣、所受影響，或上人弘法、翻譯、教育、宗教交流…等之事蹟、內容，皆歡迎投稿參賽。
The writer can choose his/her own topic as long as the content is related the conditions with Ven. Master, his influence on you, his Dharma propagation, translation, education, interfaith dialogues and so no. We encourage people submit their articles for the contest. |
語言•Languages |

採中、英文分組比賽、評審。
The essay can be written in either Chinese or English for the contest. |
參賽資格•Participant Qualifications |
|
凡具誠心者，不論國籍、宗教、種族之海內外人士皆歡迎參加。比賽分成以下三組：
Anyone who is sincere may participate. There are no restrictions concerning nationality, religious affiliation, ethnicity, etc. In order to ensure fairness, contestants will be divided into the following competing categories: |
Ａ組•Category A |
大專院校學生及社會人士
Includes adults such as college students and working class. |
Ｂ組•Category B |
就讀高中之學生（美制九∼十二年級）
Includes high school students. (9-12th graders) |
Ｃ組•Category C |
就讀八年級以下之學生
Includes middle school students (8th graders and below) |
字數限制•Essay Word Limit |

Ａ組•Category A |
1200∼2400字•1200~2400 words |
Ｂ組•Category B |
600∼1200字•600~1200 words |
Ｃ組•Category C |
400∼800字•400~800 words |
評分標準•Grading Rubric |
|
內容（60%）、修辭（15%）、文法（15%）、段落（10%）
Content: 60%; Rhetoric: 15%; Grammar: 15%; Paragraphing: 10% |
名次•Awards & Recognition |
|
各組選出菩提獎、慈悲獎、喜捨獎各一名，頒紀念獎狀及紀念品。蓮花獎若干名，亦頒紀念獎狀及紀念品。
Each of the above four categories will produce, in different terms of prizes, 1 Bodhi Award, 1 Compassion Award, 1 Happy-giving Award, and several Lotus Award etc. |
作品版權•Copyrights |

得獎作品將刊登於《金剛菩提海》月刊、法界佛教總會網站及其出版品，主辦單位擁有作品之版權。
Essays receiving awards will be published in Vajra Bodhi Sea monthly magazine and DRBA websites and publications. Contest organizers will retain the copyrights of the essay.

得獎公佈•Winner Announcements |

2010年 6月15日前公佈於法界佛教總會中文網站 www.drbachinese.org，並個別通知得獎人。
Contest results will be posted online on the DRBA website, www.drbachinese.org by 6-15-2010. Each individual will also be informed. |

2010年 6月 20日於萬佛聖城道源堂（海外或遠道不能前來領獎者，可委託他人代領）。
Prizes will be given on 6-20-2010 at CTTB. (International or other long-distance winners may have another person receive their prize.)
